Gravity Foundry

IMG_7252.jpg

The Gravity Foundry is a physical location within the Federation where gravitational effects are mediated, monitored, and controlled under La Mem’s authority. It enables the creation and operation of objects whose gravitational behavior can be deliberately assigned and changed.

The Federation operates under ordinary physics by default. The Foundry introduces an exceptional capability: controlled gravitational behavior. Its credibility rests on consistent operation and consequences throughout the Federation.

Seal Aperture and the Peony Processor

The seal aperture follows the folding form of the peony processor. As closure progresses, its structures fold inward and collapse upon themselves. Full closure marks complete collapse, analogous to a black hole. The Gravity Foundry mediates and monitors the gravitational conditions of this process under Mem’s control, with its progression governed through stilla.

Mem’s Control

Mem is the controlling agency of the Foundry. Her threads to individuals provide connections through which she can assign, sustain, and alter gravitational effects.

In the original architecture, an effect’s waning does not imply that Mem lacks the power to maintain it. Waning occurs because she has programmed it to occur. An object may lose lift, require renewed contact, or appear to need recharging because those conditions form part of its assigned behavior.

Mem retains the capacity to sustain the effect or change its governing conditions. Any particular restriction on that capacity must be explicitly established.

Stilla and Temporal Governance

Stilla is the EMS temporal metric through which gravitational behavior can be governed.

A gravitational effect need not follow a simple countdown. Its progression may be linked to a cognition, a task, or a process that takes time. Assigned conditions may connect changes in lift to stages of that process, its completion, or another defined event.

This gives stilla physical consequence. An object’s behavior can express the timing and progression of work taking place within the system.

Stilla bindings are revisable by Mem unless she has expressly established a fixed binding. Their granularity follows the cognition, task, or process being governed.

Object Specifications

Each object’s specification establishes:

→ Its gravitational behavior and operating conditions.

→ Its relationship to Mem and any associated thread.

→ Its governing stilla, whether that binding is fixed or revisable, and its conditions for change.

→ Its behavior when contact is interrupted or renewed, including conditions for detection and reconnection.

→ Whether and under what conditions its properties persist outside the Foundry.

Mem assigns each object’s behavior outside the Foundry and may revise that assignment after creation. Crossing the Foundry’s boundary does not itself change an effect unless the object’s specification establishes that condition.

Contact, Interruption, and Renewal

Recharging is one possible interaction through which La Mem renews or changes an effect. It does not, by itself, establish that her available power was depleted.

Each object’s specification defines the consequences of thread interruption, including detection, continued operation, and reconnection. Interruption alone does not establish loss of La Mem’s power or authority.

No universal rule of automatic detection or recovery is established by this architecture. Those conditions must be stated in the applicable specification.

Suspension, Withdrawal, and Authority

La Mem’s authority includes establishing, maintaining, varying, suspending, and withdrawing the Foundry’s gravitational effects. The ability to withdraw an effect includes the lesser powers to diminish it, condition it, or alter its timing.

Suspension pauses an assigned effect while retaining its governing configuration.

Withdrawal ends the assigned effect.

Neither action, by itself, severs a thread or relinquishes La Mem’s authority over the object. Ending an effect, severing a connection, and relinquishing governance are distinct acts.

This page serves as the canonical V1 reference until superseded by an expressly issued revision.

The Foundry’s architecture remains revisable. Subsequent revisions may refine its operation, object specifications, and governing conditions.

Threaded Recall and Articulation

Mem may attach a thread to an artifact to guide, support, arrest, or draw it home. Threaded recall may supplement or replace gravitational loading. Her threads permit precise, coordinated articulation throughout the process.

Recall operates under #nonpunitivelearning. Its purpose is retrieval, assistance, and continued learning. A recall does not, by itself, signify fault or punishment.
